Overview of:

Diverse destination

Scarborough is the largest of Toronto’s historic municipalities and also its most ethnically diverse, but it often goes unappreciated by the city’s mainstream. It may be hard for an urbanist to warm to Scarborough’s wide suburban streets lined with strip malls, but nonetheless the area has become a collection of villages where restaurants serving some of the best global cuisines can be found amid plazas repurposed to resemble multicultural village markets.
