Overview of:
Destination Degrassi
Most of the Victorian and Edwardian architecture in the former town of Riverdale was built between the 1880s and the Great Depression. Bordered by the Don River to the west and running south of Danforth, this tree-lined region is well known for the Gerrard Street Chinatown, the petting zoo at Riverdale Farm, a summer Farmer’s Market in Withrow Park, and its claim-to-fame: Degrassi Street.
