I can’t believe you didn’t include Cafe Taste. Their grilled cheese is made from 5 local cheeses piled onto fresh house-made bread and then fried in duck fat. Best sandwich ever.

These are not Grilled Cheese Sandwiches.. these are Grilled Sandwiches with Cheese. They took my pepperoni pizza and turned it into a thin crust gluten free mess with spiniach, artochoke hearts and capers…but I draw the line when you start messin’ with my Grilled Cheese! Buttered whitebread, cheddar cheese, big blob of ketchup on the side. Don’t mess with it!

Exaaactly. Grilled cheese sandwiches shouldn’t be messed with. I’ve always wondered, however, why they are so expensive (considering what they are) in restaurants. Some ahave the effrontery to charge $8 plus tax!
