The forecast for Monday is calling for a high of 30 degrees Celsius with a chance of thundershowers, but with the giveaway we just heard about, it’s going to be brain-freeze weather, rain or shine.

The generous folks at 7-Eleven will hand out an astonishing 1,000 7.1-ounce Slurpee drinks at every Toronto location on Monday, absolutely free.

Yes, you read that correctly: 1,000 free Slurpees at every location.

As part of the event to celebrate the legendary convenience store chain’s “birthday” (July 11th, get it?), 460,000 free Slurpees will be given out across Canada, a stunning total that represents one of the largest single-day product giveaways in Canada, and certainly the largest one we can think of involving super-sweet, neon-coloured frozen treats.
