Just tried the Go Chuck Yourself along with six other burgers at Holy Chuck! My favourite was the Animal Feed – portobello stuffed with feta and philly cream cheese, panko crusted and deep fried then topped with garlic aioli made in-house. Absolute perfection. Fellow burger eaters at Holy Chuck said it was on par with Burger’s Priest.

If you looking at the GTA, you have to try a double burger at Best Pizza/Chubby’s Burgers in Newmarket. Homemade and fantastic.

The Three Monkeys Eatery in Scarborough had the Kilo Burger. As the name suggests, a kilo of beef. If you could eat it and all the fries and onion rings that came with it, then you got it for free. My friend got about half way.

HERO BURGERS are gross most of the time, they taste like they were boiled not fried on a grill. They come soggy and soak through the bun, especially if you like to add on the Hero Sauce and other sauces.

Their fries are damn good though.

Any burger place that won’t grill their burgers to your liking (READ: not charred to pathetic, crumbly end), doesn’t deserve to be serving burgers in my book. Hero definitely included.

C&Dubbs is great. They also have normal sized burgers. Also, excellent burger in the west end is at Shakey’s on Bloor West.

Quality over quantity please. If you want to rate a good burger, check out BQM. They use top quality ingredients and put thought into the combinations. Tops in my book… Yes, I have tried the rest.

You two need to get a life – its just a bit of fun. Did you see the title of the article? “THE GRID: Get a load of Toronto’s biggest burgers” suggests they will be looking at the biggest burgers in the city, no?

There are hundreds of lists that go over, in detail, where the best burger joints are in Toronto. I don’t usually post but some of the whiney comments get me going!
