Jeddou Ouldcheikhna’s custard is made with eggs, beaten slowly and frozen at a low temperature for a cold sweet that’s denser, richer and has fewer ice crystals than regular ice cream. Pep up on a lazy, hazy day with the popular affogato: vanilla custard soaked in a shot of espresso.
