TOMS gives one more time

The TOMS 2012 Art of Giving Event Tour Series makes its final appearance in Toronto this Tuesday (Aug. 14, 5–7 p.m.) at the JESSGO Studio at Seven Continents (945 Wilson Ave., Unit 1B). Guests attending the travelling art/fashion fundraiser can sip wine and silently bid on art and one-of-a-kind TOMS shoes and eyewear, redesigned by 40 local artists and designers including Adrian Wu, Pat McDonagh, Marla Buck, and Jacqueline Poirier. Hosted by Jessica Gorlicky, a Toronto-based artist known for her live paintings, the fundraiser benefits both the brand’s familiar One for One Charity and Look Good Feel Better, which supports workshops for women battling cancer.
