COLLABORATIONS
■ H&M’s collaboration with French design house Maison Martin Margiela hits stores on Nov. 15, but you’ll have to be there early to get first dibs. Previous H&M designer lines have caused lineups well before 8 a.m. at the Eaton Centre, and this collection will be no exception. Pieces include an oversized peacoat ($349), a pair of plexi-heeled wedge boots ($399), and shiny candy wrapper–style clutches ($60).
■ Toronto designer Jessica Jensen has created a line of men’s bags and small leather goods for Winnipeg’s historic farmers’ outfitter Crown Cap. Jensen’s items—laptop sleeves, totes, duffle bags, travel accessories, and so on—will be sold under in-house label Nathaniel Cole and range in price from $18 to $374. In Toronto, the collection is available at The Bay and online at crowncap.com.

■ Toronto’s first Gravitypope shop is coming to 1010 Queen St. W. (647-748-5155) in mid-November. The independent retailer from Western Canada is opening a three-floor space filled with designer footwear (Cydwoq, Opening Ceremony, and the eponymous house brand), clothing (Zero+Maria Cornejo, Gary Graham, Margaret Howell), accessories (Jill Platner, Arielle De Pinto), and apothecary (Santa Maria Novella, Cire Trudon).
■ The Corktown location of the women’s spa Body Blitz East (497 King St. E.) opens on Nov. 12. Designed with a ’70s feel, Body Blitz is famed for its five-part water circuit that comprises a Dead Sea salt pool, aromatherapy steam room, cold plunge pool, infared sauna, and hot Epsom salt pool. Built over five split levels, the spa houses 20 dedicated rooms and an in-house boutique stocked with Canadian goodies.
