COLLABORATIONS
On Sat. Nov. 19, the Versace for H&M men’s and women’s collection drops at the chain’s Eaton Centre, Bloor Street, and Yorkdale locations. This latest collaboration draws on archival Versace, featuring all the company’s iconic signatures. Expect plenty of leather, sexy silhouettes, vibrant colours and prints, embedded hardware, Medusa and Greek key motifs in clothing and accessories, plus an introductory homewares collection.
Geranium by Virginia Johnson, a series of shawls designed by Toronto’s textile designer and illustrator, has arrived at Anthropologie. Each of the three 30” x 80” merino wool shawls depicts a colourful, globetrotting scene in Johnson’s signature, illustrative style. $128. Johnson will deliver a second collection for Anthropologie in February.

The LA–based chain Forever 21, is Scarborough Town Centre’s (300 Borough Dr. #SCR) newest retail resident. The 26,000 sq. ft. store, with its mix of fast fashion and daily drops of fresh merchandise, offers plenty of retail space for the fashion and lifestyle brand’s expanded collections, including Heritage 1981, 21 Men, Love 21 (a new contemporary women’s line), and the Love and Beauty cosmetics range.
A2Zane (753 Queen St. W. #QNW) hosts its official launch party on Nov. 17. The recently opened accessories shop carries both sizes of the Cambridge Satchel and Backpack, Rebecca Minkoff’s women’s collection and Ben Minkoff, her collection of men’s bags. Find the Zurich-based, Qwstion line of convertible weekend-to-knapsack bags, and a selection of global jewellery, scarf and watch brands.
