Go Brazilian!

Head to the WestJet Main stage on Sunday (July 8 ) at 4 p.m. for a runway presentation featuring Toronto-based Brazilian designers Baby Steinberg and Clarice Michelon. The local designers—who have both showed at Toronto Fashion Week and FAT—boast divergent styles: Baby Steinberg works with upcycled and re-purposed materials, while Michelon stylings are sexy and feminine. The fashion show—which will also feature swimwear from Etc & Tal, a collection out of Brazil’s northeastern coastal city of Recife—is part of this weekend’s (July 6-8) Expressions of Brazil Festival at Harbourfront Centre (235 Queen’s Quay St. W.), celebrating the diversity and talent of Brazilian arts, culture, dance, music, and food. Admission is free.
