Many of Toronto’s favourite fashion boutiques will be open late this Tuesday for this social media shopping experience.
From 6 p.m. until midnight this Tuesday, Found Riches and Plaid Magazine are teaming up to give shoppers the chance to receive a bunch of promotional discounts on their purchases by taking their late-night shopping experience into the realm of social media. Found Riches, a new Smartphone app, aims at promoting retailers and their wares to Toronto’s vast community of fashion tastemakers.
After downloading the app, users are encouraged to snap pictures of their favourite items they see while shopping. The reason? To spread the word about rare items and great finds that are available in the stores they have visited around the city. In return for uploading the images to Facebook, select retailers will offer a discount on the featured item.
Participants in the West End Riches event will all be open late, and they include some of Toronto’s favourite stores like 69 Vintage, Lost and Found, Bicyclette Boutique, Dalston Grey, Chosen Vintage, Oliver Spencer, and many more.
