Nathalie-Roze & Co. celebrates its sixth anniversary with a party and, of course, sale at its Leslieville location (1015 Queen St. E., #LES) today (July 7) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The indie eco-friendly designer boutique and DIY studio will offer 20 to 50 per cent off everything in the shop, free cupcakes, ice cream and lemonade, gifts with purchase, and a beauty bar for make-up touches and braiding. The event will also introduce the newly created Scavenger Room, a mini shop-within-a-shop that features vintage items, plus sale and studio samples all priced under $50.
A new Miracle Thieves Walk-In Closet opens today (July 7) at 294 Crawford St., facing Trinity Bellwoods Park on Dundas (#DNW). Until July 10, find vintage, second-hand, thrift, found, and heirloom treasures owned by Miracle Thieves’ partner/managing director Tiffany Naval at the west-end community space dedicated to arts and commerce in the neighbourhood. The eclectic global collection includes pieces from Naval’s travels to the Philippines, India, native reserves and ’50s vintage from her grandmother. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
