You’re probably too busy right now to figure out where the best post-Xmas shopping deals are to be had, so we did all the legwork for you.
If you haven’t been to TNT (The Next Trend), now is the time to go. Working Title (126A Davenport Rd., 416-551-1085) opens from 10 a.m.–7 p.m. for its first-ever Boxing Day sale. Markdowns are 30-50 per cent off an assortment of labels—Patrik Ervell, Gitman Bros., Etudes, Apenteur, and more—housed at this minimalist concept space. (Alden and accessories are excluded.) Operating as an independent men’s clothing, accessories, gallery, and bookshop, Working Title shares many of the brands found at its west-end counterpart, Lost & Found, but not an identical product mix as items here lean toward the pricier side. The sale continues through the week when regular store hours apply, with limited quantities available online.

Lads who appreciate the dapper stylings of Oliver Spencer (962 Queen W., 647-348-7673) are in luck. The West Queen West shop—which offers the British designer’s modern English silhouettes with old-school tailoring and craftsmanship—is discounting its entire Autumn/Winter 2013 collection by 50 per cent. And the British heritage brand with the iconic laurel wreath, Fred Perry, takes 50 – 70 per cent off everything in its flagship store at 964 Queen St. W. (416-538-3733). Apart from door-crasher specials of $39 for shirts and denim, at Sydney’s “Bananas for Boxing Day!” event is the most novel Boxing Day promo we’ve come across. The Queen West menswear shop—known for its awesome collection of men’s designer and accessories offers a free pair of United Stock Dry Goods Narrow Fit Dark Indigo or Narrow Fit Tonal Denim grey jeans to the first 20 people to bring in a banana. If you’re in the market for designer accessories (think bags, backpacks, jewelry, sunglasses, and more), then visit accessories specialist ZANE (753 Queen St. W., 647-352-9263), who is offering 30-60 per cent off select items both in-store and online. As the shop name implies, this Toronto-based designer’s well-tailored collection emphasizes quality, workmanship, and originality. Men’s and women’s Tiger of Sweden apparel, footwear, and accessories are red-ticketed up to 70 per cent off. Don’t bother stopping for coffee before hitting the racks at Lost & Found’s (44 Ossington Ave., 647-348-2810) holiday sale. This recently relocated menswear boutique/coffee shop (formerly on Dundas West) will have the espresso maker going as they start their Boxing Day/Week sale with 20–50 per cent off pretty much all their collections of brands that emphasize craftsmanship and sustainability: Golden Bear, Jungmaven, Homespun, The Hill–Side and more. Britt Rawlings’ unique consignment space V-S-P, opens at noon for a Boxing Day Sale of up to 70 per cent off all merchandise for a promotion that continues through the New Year.
