@SurleyOne: The reliance of Facebook, Twitter and Smartphones are definitely getting out of control. It seems that people don’t have any sense of boundaries or restraint. I’m on Facebook myself and I barely post anything or log on to my page because I would rather be doing something. I am also a very private person and don’t feel or understand the need to share every personal detail with the world. I mean, seriously, who cares what you ate for dinner?

Facebook also creates a pressure to be constantly “on” all the time. Even if you are on Facebook looking at updates, you feel obligated to “socialize” if your person happens to be online. There is no time to breathe, relax and collect your thoughts and you end up feeling drained. It’s like a big electronic eye watching your every move.

The fact that a woman is a porn star does no negate the fact that she has a brain or – gasp – an education.

Her experiences are very valuable and maybe even more so in a situation that is sexually ambiguous and difficult.

Kudos to Kate for her her non prejudice way of researching a topic.

Bravo to Peter for NOT succumbing to the herd mentality and buying a smart phone. Smart phone technology is being used to keep the populace docile, it’s the new mass opiate. The world has been invaded by a zombified horde of consumer conformists, controlled by the need to constantly stare at little glowing boxes.

This scenario doesn’t make any sense, if they are struggling that much and the woman refers to him as a “boyfriend” ………..is there anything there worth salvaging? Unless there are some very compelling reasons to consider staying together, they would be doing each other a huge favor by cutting their losses at this point and going their separate ways. Opening up a relationship that is already on very shaky ground sounds like a recipe for disaster.
