The one question you didn't ask was will Ticketfly have different ticket pickup policies than Ticketmaster? Ticketmaster requires that you bring the actual credit card to which the purchase was charged along with photo ID, which, on the surface sounds reasonable. But if, in the meantime, you've had your card replaced due to its being compromised or having exceeded the expiry date, you are in for a world of trouble and aggravation. For starters, the banks and credit card issuers instruct you to destroy your old card, which most people do - unless they bothered to read the fine print on the Ticketmaster confirmation form - which most people don't do. For you see, without the ACTUAL CARD that was used to make the purchase being present at the time of ticket pickup you don't get your tickets UNLESS you informed Ticketmaster that your card was replaced or reissued and had the account switched to the new number. But that requires the number of your old card plus the 3 digit security code on the back, information which few people retain or remember once their new card has arrived, and an old billing statement, while it may provide the card number doesn't provide the security code, which rules out that possibility. The confirmation form is not good for admission without the card; for some shows both are required for admittance. Showing the Ticketmaster billing entry on your credit card statement is also of no use. As well, parents who have paid for their teenager's ticket have to be present when the ticket is picked up. As a former ticket agent, I saw people reduced to tears because the tickets for the very special seats they had paid for as a special gift for a loved one or friends were unobtainable because of the regulations. Others had to phone home to Oshawa or North Bay to get their parents to fax the credit card image to Ticketmaster along with a signature that has to match that on the card. Try arranging that when the concert is due to begin in half an hour. Worst of all, by my experience with many customers, Ticketmaster doesn't care - they've got their money, and that's all that matters to them.
