re: today in the yuck

the whole defence counsel as an evil-doer role is quite trite. also it comes from a place of clear lack of understand or education regarding the role of defence counsel in our criminal justice system. i’m quite tired of seeing this from individuals that lack any informed opinion on the matter. everyone deserves a defence and that is a pillar of our justice system, which is one of the best and least corrupted in the world.
