I agree that the adult films should go. I'm certainly not against adult films but a cinema that shows porn by day and sophisticated films by night absolutely will not work. Bad optics, bad smell. Bad reputation. Why not run grindhouse type programming by day? Say between noon and 6pm they run "3 big hits" of oddball action, cult or horror films that change each week for a reasonable price, perhaps $5.00. There's two cinemas there so two triple-bill programs could be booked each week. Toronto Underground is closing for good.

Are the revenues so great that they cover lost evening ticket sales of people who don't want to sit in jizz? I for one, am very happy with the Bloor 'HotDocs' Cinema, the Royal, The Underground, and others. I will skip this venue. Bad business idea... but that's just my opinion.
