Jem Cohen’s truly outrageous nexus

N.Y.C.-based filmmaker Jem Cohen asked some very cool friends to join him for We Have An Anchor, a special screening with live musical accompaniment by members of Fugazi, the Dirty Three, and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. But Cohen’s coolest guest of all is one of Toronto’s musical treasures, Mary Margaret O’Hara. The second recent collaboration between the two—O’Hara also acts in Cohen’s Museum Hours, which debuted at TIFF—the Anchor concerts should be a worthy showcase for artists whose careers were long fated to intersect.
