One of the common experiences at the city’s annual all-night art orgy (second to being totally fed up with crowds) is feeling like you’ve missed out on something. What that something is depends entirely on what you want to get out of Nuit Blanche. To help temper any disappointment, we’ve once again put together three routes to help you navigate the chaos based on personal preference: The Artist Statement–Illiterate (a feet-friendly amuse-bouche of some of the night’s biggest names and easiest concepts), The Fluent in Artspeak (an opportunity to try out all that stuff you highlighted in your semiotics textbooks), and The “Forget the post-structuralist theory—let’s feast!” (because we all know that Nuit Blanche is really French for “outdoor boozing night”). So go ahead, pick your promenade.
