It is a simple workplace safety standard that when you are at risk of falling, you do something to prevent that fall from killing you. No regard shown for the people below that they would fall on or knock old stonework onto. When I was in my late teens I tried and sometimes did, sneek into old buidings, such as old City Hall, and some of the discoveries were fascinating. But standing atop high buidings and peering down makes me woozy, vertigo. I hope everyone looks at the pictures with a high resolution screen. In the city I'm from a 17 year old boy climbed a bridge to take pictures and fell to his death. He was in grade 12 and had his whole life ahead of him, he does this stunt and leaves behind dozens of heartbroken people, all for the sake of some stupid photographs! This is what gives photographers bad names! How about applying for a permit? My fear is that younger people will read this, try it themselves and either get charged for trespassing or meet with disaster! I didn't see anywhere in the article saying "do not try this" or if you get caught you may get a criminal record. You have successfully glorified illegal and dangerous activity, truly sad!
