We asked some of Toronto’s smartest people one simple question: what’s your one brilliant idea that would make Toronto better? Now, we want you to tell us yours.
For our May 24 cover story, The Grid got a bunch of good ideas from a bunch of big thinkers for how to make Toronto a better city, from turning our miles of unused alleyways into places you’d actually want to hang out, to getting rid of all parking on our main streets and replacing it with bike lanes, to making our rush-hour commute a little cuddlier. But there’s someone whose idea we missed: yours.
Your idea can be practical, or radical, or simple, or complicated, or wildly expensive, or dirt-cheap. It just has to be worth getting excited about, it has to be original, and you have to sum it up in fewer than 200 words and send it to email@example.com before Wednesday, May 30, at 5 p.m.. In early June, we’ll publish some of the best ideas we get, and if yours is our favourite, we’ll throw you a pair of front-row Toronto FC tickets for either their July 11 or August 15 game, which are each worth $154. Maybe, just maybe, if you’re really lucky, we’ll even throw a baby parade in your honour.
