I love my city

I am not one of those people who hate bicycle riders but I do have to say that while this guy is an idiot for parking in the bike lane, There is a lot of rude ass bike riders in the city who don’t follow a lot of the rules so lets say as many dumb asses in cars who do things like that guy up there, There are a lot of bike riders who are just as bad.

Yep. I do not drive but when I have been in the car with my friend a few times, she’s had her car physically smacked by two cyclists who refused to ride single-lane. I do not sympathize with the problems that cyclists encounter. Drivers have laws to which they abide and the same should apply to those who choose to bike. Just plain logic.

Omg..This just shows u how dumb the driver is…obviously he doesnt know the rule about not parking in a bike lane…let’s try to forgive n forget this idiot has a hummer in the city…where does he think this will help him getting out of trouble?? Never this city is flat…poor ignorant…He must have been so happy to finally get enough space to park in the city!!!

Just to let you know that the type of man that drives a shiny hummer through the city is the type of man that feels entitled to do what he wants. Parking in a bike lane is only slightly more convenient than driving up on the side walk. He would drive his car into the store if it didn’t scratch the paint.

As a cyclist I have to ask where is the bylaw officer when you need one?

a police car parked in the bike lane
a municipal vehicle parked in the bike lane on the wrong side of the road
some idiot riding on the sidewalk

I’m a walker, a cyclist, and am taking driving lessons to get behind the wheel of a motorized vehicle… and I’ll likely go to my grave not understanding why some people feel so entitled that they can park like this.

That’s so funny. Last summer I was commissioned to build a sandwich board for Speakeasy Tattoo (which you can see behind the Hummer) so they could put that in front of their shop to tell people not to park in the effing bike lane.

Guess it didn’t work.

Yes but that construction worker doesn’t push you into traffic where you can get.

1. A door prize from the illegally parked car.
2. A door prize that sends you under another moving car.
3. A door prize that sends you into the path of a moving car.
4. Just hit by a moving car that cannot respond to you going around that hummer.

And if you voice your frustration with the construction worker there’s a very slim chance that he’s going to get in his car and try to run you over or off the road. A little perspective please.

Not only is it parked in the bike lane, but it is also parked in front of a sign that I pass every day on my ride to school that kindly requests that cars not park in the bike lane. Silly Hummer.
