To celebrate the opening of build-your-own bibimbap take-out spot Seoul Food Co. (1 Baldwin St., at McCaul), the restaurant is giving them out for free (well, the vegetarian version) from noon to 8 p.m. (or until they run out) to anyone who likes their page on Facebook or follows them on Twitter.
Seoul Food Co. opened just after its sister restaurant, Yakitori Bar opened last week. Both are owned by restauranteur, chef, author, and sushi-making teacher Sang Kim. While it’s not the first DIY Korean rice bowl joint in the city, it certainly is for Baldwin Village.—Karon Liu
