Splendido (88 Harbord St., at Spadina) is planning an eight-course collaboration dinner with eight fine-dining chefs on March 27. Owner-chef Victor Barry will be sharing the kitchen with Patrick Kriss (formerly Acadia), Marc St. Jacques (Auberge du Pommier), pasta maker Leo Baldassarre (Familia Baldassarre, a local company that supplies a few restaurants in the city), Craig Harding (Campagnolo), David Lee (Nota Bene, The Carbon Bar), big cheese Afrim Pristine (Cheese Boutique), and Nadège Nourian (Nadège Patisserie).
Each chef will cook up one snack and one course for $180 per person (add another $100 for wine pairings). The menu hasn’t been finalized yet, but given each cook’s distinctive style you might be able to figure out what everyone will be making—unless there are some curveballs and Harding ends up serving sushi.
