At last there’s an address for the long-awaited third location of everyone’s favourite quasi-religiously themed burger restaurant Burger’s Priest. Owner Shant Mardirosian got the keys to 463 Queen St. W. (at Spadina) just yesterday and will begin planning the architectural desgins for it next week.
“It’s the location that I’m happiest with,” he says, adding that he’d like to open more locations in the future. “It really stood out with the traffic, the size, access to parking. It’s a little smaller than the Yonge location, but it’ll have a few more seats.”
The spot is currently occupied by rockabilly clothing shop Hell’s Bells, which is having a storewide closing sale till the end of next month when it closes. Burger’s Priest is expected to open in mid-May. “I really like that corner,” says Mardirosian. “There are tons of burger places, and I really like Banh Mi Boys, so I’m in good company.” —Karon Liu
