Consider this as an invitation or warning for people who will be in Cabbagetown on the evening of Oct. 10. The Toronto chapter of Dishcrawl , the group that organizes regular food tours in various neighbourhoods, will be hosting a restaurant crawl—Gangnam style.
For $25, participants will get to eat at three restaurants (locations are kept under wraps until two days prior to the event) and will do a flash mob to the tune of current YouTube phenomenon and most-liked vid of all time , Korean pop star Psy’s “Gangnam Style .” Here’s a tutorial on how to do the dance (YouTube is overflowing with Gangnam flash mobs ), which you’ll agree is a lot more forgiving for novice dancers than doing a “Single Ladies” flash mob , but more impressive looking than dancing to last year’s YouTube anthem, Rebecca Black’s “Friday” .
Consider the Dishcrawl event practice, because you’ll probably be doing this dance at every wedding you attend for the next five years.
