Dear Mayor Ford: problem solved, no driver needed

Rob Ford refuses to get a driver, despite the pleas of everyone in the city who is afraid he’ll mow down one or more of his beloved taxpayers while reading, talking on the phone and otherwise trying to do complicated things other than driving while he is at the wheel.

There is a safe, easy alternative to hiring a driver—and in fact the annual cost would likely be less than the weekly salary of a driver. Plus it would put him in contact with many of the taxpayers he loves so much every day:
