Today, Delux Restaurant (92 Ossington Ave., at Humbert) announced via Instagram that it will be leaving the Ossington scene after six years in business. The last dinner service will be taking place on June 13, so make your reservations now to have a last meal at, and say goodbye to, one of the first restaurants to make that strip hip.
The Grid has reached out to owner Corinna Mozo, and will update this post as soon as we learn more. In the meantime, eat at Delux while you can, and for your future cubano and dulce de leche donut cravings, pay a visit to its little sister restaurant La Cubana (392 Roncesvalles Ave., at Howard Park). —Rebecca Fleming
UPDATE, JUNE 9, 2014: The Cuban-French restaurant confirms that they are keeping the space and will be turning it into another concept, which is still being worked on. We’ve been told to check back in the next months on the space. Right now, the staff is busy preparing for the restaurant’s last week.
