Today, Councillor Mark Grimes—a man the mayor refers to as the “Midnight Mayor” responded to reports that he may have been out having drinks with two Casino lobbyists, Ford campaign manager Nick Kouvalis and Ana Bailao the night she was arrested for drunk driving. (He’s head of the Exhibition Place board, so questions had to do with the propriety of drinking with casino lobbyists.)
Writer Jude MacDonald was struck by the poetry of his response, and typeset appropriately on her Facebook page. I have shared the resulting art with her permission. And added a title without her permission.
